11th June 07 - Training Weekend Date Set for August

Hi Everyone

I have spoken to a few members and we have decided to set a date towards the end of August for another club training weekend. This previous in Bournemouth was very successful and we would like to build on a good start to the summer surf season.

Thae date set is for Fri 25th Aug to Tues 28th. This is a long weekend and we are hoping members will be prepared to travel a bit further this time down to Fistral Beach in Newquay. This is two weeks before nationals so we wanted to go somewhere with a better chance of surf as there most likely will be surf in St Ives.

Booking and travel arrangements are all entirely up to you, but we normally stay at www.fistralbackpackers.co.uk
The atmosphere is good, the rooms are well priced and most importantly it is just a few steps from the beach itself. Due to it being Aug it would be best to book accommodation sooner rather than later.
