Competitors,
If
you would like to represent Crawley Town LSC at the
above National Championships you need to be a good
standing club member (£16 membership) and provide
the following;
Full name, DOB, RLSS No. (must remain valid for the
event)
The
events you wish to enter along with the time (if you
do not know your time I am happy to guess for you).
As I will be selecting the relay teams from the entries,
please inform me if you do not wish to be considered
for this event.
* 100/200 Obstacles
* 50m Carry
* 100m Medley
* 100m Carry with fins
* 100m tow with fins
* Super Lifesaver (restricted to 2 entries per category)
* Line throw
* Obstacle relay
* Manikin relay
* Medley relay
* Line relay
Details
of the event including rules and age groupings can
be found on the RLSS website under competitions.
The cost of entry is £7.50/individual, £16/team
(£4 each) & £10/pair (£5 each).
If you withdraw and a replacement cannot be found
for your relay team, you will be asked to cover the
full cost of that team. Masters relays which must
be all Female or male and I am still waiting to learn
if the ages can be mixed. At present they cannot be
mixed for the line i.e. Iain Brown can not use me
as a body or visa versa.
As
the entries will be sent by post, I need your replies
by 21st January latest so that I can circulate the
intended entry for everyone’s approval prior
to sending.
Please
let me know if I have accidentally missed any competitors
that will be interested in competing for us.
The
SLSA (Surf) Still Water Championships which are very
similar to the RLSS event will be held in Swansea
close to this time, details of which will be released
as soon as they are known
European
Club Team Championships Tenerife April/May –
Although there is still confusion over the dates (either
last week April or first week May) please if possible
confirm you interest in attending. The Club team is
restricted to 6 ladies & 6 men and will be self
funded; the event is likely to take one week of your
time.
