The Crawley Town Life Saving Club has started the year in fine style.

Firstly George Hopkinson broke Iain Browns a fellow Crawley member’s British record for the 100m tow with fins by 0.77 second when he recorded a time of 57.97 seconds at the recent Welsh Championships held in Swansea. The event involves swimming a length of K2 with fins, attaching a rescue tube around a 30 kg floating manikin and swimming back to the start.
